The biggest factor that affects the production of fish farming is the growth rate. While the growth rate itself is influenced by such health conditions (resistance to disease), the accuracy of a given feed, water quality, soil cultivation and territorial conditions (climatic). Fish farmers need to know how the prediction of production of cultivation. But to be able to predict the production is very difficult to be done because it is associated with multiple factors that influence it. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a system that can help to predict the results of fish farming production. Several studies of system development have been conducted associated with fish farming, the development of expert systems and case-based reasoning computer to diagnose fish diseases and provide advice how to treat, and fuzzy expert system to determine the exact formula of fish feed. To complement the needs of fish farmers, the research is being developed computer-based system that determines the exact type of fish to be cultivated in accordance with the water quality using expert system technology. Up to this point, has been done representation of knowledge that is the starting point in the development of expert systems. The knowledge has been acquisitioned, is represented by the rules through the preparation of the decision table. With this rule, the expert system can be constructed by first determining its inference or chaining model.
